Wood Therapy

Wood therapy is a vigorous massage technique that utilizes wooden, handheld tools, such as rolling pins and vacuum-suction cups. Purportedly, wood therapy is centuries old and originated in Asia.

This massage can increase blood and lymphatic circulation, and reduce the appearance of cellulite. (Recommended 10-12 sessions to start seeing results in cellulite reduction.)

Himalayan Salt Massage

Pink salt stones are heated to allow the minerals to absorb into the body, maximizing the salt's many benefits. Balancing the body's central nervous system and generating negative ions, which are shown to help create a sense of peace and deep relaxation.

Reflexology (hands or feet)

By working on certain points of the hands or feet, the reflexologist addresses internal organs and glands as well as muscle groups, nerve ganglions during a session.

If you have a specific condition, such as migraines, the reflexologist will carefully feel and work the area corresponding to the presenting problem. However, they will also work all areas of the foot with gentle pressure, because, according to reflexology theories, this allows the nerve pathways and congestion to release and promotes the relaxation response for the entire body.

Swedish Massage

Swedish massage is the most commonly offered and best-known type of massage. It uses a firm but gentle pressure to improve circulation, ease muscle aches and tension, improve flexibility, and create relaxation.

 

This technique uses massage oil to facilitate long, smooth strokes over the body. Swedish massage is the foundation for other types of massage, including deep tissue and sports.

Hot Stone Massage

This treatment involves placing and kneading hot stones over muscles, increasing blood circulation to stimulate healing of painful or damaged muscles.

 

The firm pressure from the massage, together with the heat of the stones also aid in the removal of toxins and waste from the body.

Table Thai Massage

Passive stretches for every part of the client's body are performed in the supine, side-lying, and prone positions on the massage table. Stretches are adapted from many diverse modalities including Thai traditional massage & Thai yoga massage. Thai massage is traditionally done on a mat on the floor with the recipient fully clothed, however many of the moves can be performed on a massage table.

Reiki

Reiki means "universal life energy." It's an ancient healing method that manipulates energy flow in the body and balances and clears the 7 Chakras. Your service provider will move their hands around your body. They may touch you lightly or have their hands just above your body. You may experience sensation in the body such as heat or tingling.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. It uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense to release chronic muscle tension or knots.

 

This type of massage releases chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "Adhesions").

Prenatal Massage

This therapeutic massage is designed to focus on the special needs of a mother-to-be as her body changes during pregnancy. It helps reduce swelling, relieve aches and pains, and provide emotional release during pregnancy. An optional face-down pregnancy massage cushion provides ultimate support for pregnancy massage, breast discomfort, or lower back pain.

*for the safety of mom and baby, you must be past the first trimester to receive prenatal massage.

Thai Massage

Thai massage uses gentle pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body. It incorporates yoga-like stretches to reduce stress, improve circulation and range of motion. The client lies on the floor or mat and our massage therapist will slowly work the client's body through various stretches, and gentle pressure. The therapist may use their hands, knees, legs, or feet to help manipulate the person's body into different positions.
