Preparing for Your VI Peel Treatment

Things to Consider Before Your Treatment

  • Treatment Safety: VI Peels are safe for all skin types but not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding individuals.

  • Application Process: The VI Peel solution is applied in layers by your esthetician and washed off at home after 4 hours.

  • Scheduling Your Treatment: Plan your peel at least a week before any special events to allow time for the peeling process.

  • Workout Restrictions: Avoid working out or engaging in heavy sweating for 72 hours post-treatment.

  • Sun Exposure: Minimize sun exposure during the week of the peel for optimal results and to protect sensitive skin.

Post-Treatment Expectations and Care

  • Peeling Process:

    • Peeling typically starts on day 3, beginning around the mouth and nose.

    • Days 4 and 5 are the most intensive peeling days.

    • The peeling process is generally complete by day 7.

  • At-Home Care Kit:

    • Your esthetician will provide a care kit that includes essential products to maximize results.

    • Follow the aftercare instructions carefully to ensure proper healing.

  • Sun Protection:

    • Avoid direct sun exposure for the entire week of the peel.

    • Use sunscreen provided in your care kit to protect the new, sensitive skin.

  • Hydration and Skin Maintenance:

    • Keep your skin hydrated with the recommended products.

    • Avoid exfoliating, rubbing, or pulling at peeling skin to prevent irritation.

  • VI Peels can be performed once a month for continued improvement and maintenance.

Chemical Peels
BioRePeel

A BioRePeel, also known as a chemical peel or dermal peel, is a cosmetic procedure that involves the application of a solution to the skin to remove dead and damaged outer layers. This process promotes skin regeneration, revealing smoother, more youthful-looking skin and addressing concerns such as fine lines, wrinkles, uneven texture, and pigmentation irregularities.

This peel can be done once a week and is recommended to be done in a series of 3 treatments, at least.
